About us
Support Services Education was born from years of experience as an educator in K12 and higher education, recognizing the need for dedicated support for international students. We're committed to helping these students thrive academically, culturally, and personally during their studies in the United States. Our personalized approach and dedicated team ensure every student receives the attention and guidance they deserve.

Our support for international students
We understand the unique challenges international students face. Support Services Education provides comprehensive assistance to help students overcome these hurdles and achieve success:
Arrival & Adjustment Challenges:
Unfamiliar logistics: Navigating airport arrival, housing setup, bank accounts, phone plans, and insurance.
Solution: We provide arrival pickup, move-in concierge services, and step-by-step guidance for banking, SIM cards, and health insurance.
Academic Challenges:
Different classroom culture: Participation expectations, academic integrity rules, and professor communication norms. Language barriers: Difficulty understanding assignments, rubrics, or complex academic English.
Solution: We run orientation workshops on U.S. academic expectations, offer tutoring/assignment coaching, and provide translation/explanation support.
Cultural & Social Challenges:
Isolation & homesickness: Students often feel disconnected from peers or struggle to make friends. Cultural shock: Adjusting to American etiquette, food, transportation, and daily life.
Solution: We organize cultural outings, mentorship connections, social events, and even holiday hosting with American families.
Parent Concerns:
Lack of visibility: Families abroad often feel anxious because they cannot see how their student is adjusting. Emergency worries: Parents may fear not being able to reach their child quickly.
Solution: We provide regular parent updates, video calls, and a 24/7 emergency hotline to ensure peace of mind.
Life Skills & Career Challenges:
Financial literacy gaps: Students often don’t know how to manage U.S. credit cards, bills, or budgeting. Career readiness: Unfamiliarity with U.S. résumé, LinkedIn, and internship processes.
Solution: We coach students in financial literacy, cooking, driving, and offer résumé/LinkedIn prep and networking support.
